The WU Zinc wick is a technology advanced metal core candle wick consisting of a cotton braided jacket surrounding a zine core. Concern over trace elements of lead has resulted in the Consumer Product Safety Commission defining a lead cored wick to be one containing greater than 0.06% lead by weight in the metal. Zinc wire has a maximum level pf lead impurities of 0.004%, WELL BELOW THE STANDARD.
