    Description

You are bidding on a large, very rare original antique print from an 1880s French illustrated journal.
It depicts a beautiful Gordon Setter that has started a mother quail and her flock. The mother protects her young. Let me know if I got the bird breed right!
    The caption reads:  L'amour maternal
which roughly translates to:  Mother's Love
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a French caption below.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
See scan for an accurate view of the condition.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
